When installed onto the car, the Mercedes logo will be displayed onto the ground after the door is opened, just like a welcome light. If you forget to close the door, the light should automatically turn off after 2 to 3 minutes. However, this depends on your cars design and not the light itself.

This logo door projector is the only light on the market that can be installed into the original puddle light location and does not need any holes drilled.
